My Daily Non-Negotiable’s

“Decide what kind of life you actually want, then say ‘no’ to everything that isn’t that”

Hey beautiful Goddess,

Today I want to share my daily non-negotiable’s with you! Over the years I have created non-negotiable’s in many areas of my life, however today I am focusing on the non-negotiable’s relating to my healthy habits! In this article I’ll be explaining what non-negotiable’s are and why they are important. I’ll be sharing my personal daily non-negotiable’s. Then, I’ll be taking you through a step-by-step process so you can get clear on what is most important to you, before you create your very own daily non-negotiable’s list.

What Are Non-Negotiables:

Non-negotiable’s are the things you will not negotiate on. They define what is most important to you and align with your values and principles. They are the promises you keep to yourself.

Why Are Non-Negotiables Important?

When you are clear and intentional about what you want and don’t want to create in your life it makes it very easy to priorities your ‘most important things’ and then say “no” to everything else. It helps to give your days direction and purpose, leaving you feeling satisfied and fulfilled at the end of each day.

My Daily Non-Negotiables:

1.Meditate morning & afternoon

2.Eat a whole-foods, (mostly) plant-based diet

3.Drink 2L pure, filtered water with lemon essential oil & a pinch of Himalayan rock salt

4.Practice mindful movement

5.Get 20 minutes sunshine & fresh air

6.Spend time in nature

7.Do something creative

8.Laugh & play more

9.Love & (when possible) make love

10.Get 8 hours deep, restorative sleep

Create Your Own Daily Non-Negotiables!

1.Brainstorm ideas:

On a piece of scrap paper, write down all the things that are important to you right now. For example, you might write down a few things like… feeling healthy, having energy, feeling calm, exercising, being creative, feeling balanced, having financial freedom, having fun, being social, having soulful sex, good sleep, spending time in the garden, having clear skin, going to the beach, being a healthy body weight etc…

2.Organise your ideas:

Using 12 different coloured highlighters or a second piece of scrap paper, start to organise your ideas into groups.

I like to use these 12 categories:

Health

Physical Activity

Home Cooking

Home Environment

Relationships

Social Life

Joy

Spirituality

Creativity

Finances

Career

Education

3.Get clarity:

You may find that you have multiple items highlighted or listed under each category. Now I want you to take a good look at those items and choose the 1 item that is the most important to you in each category. You will have 12 items in total, 1 for each category.

Example:

Health – Feeling healthy

Physical Activity – Exercising

Home Cooking – Eating healthy

Home Environment – spending time in the garden

Relationships – Having soulful sex

Social Life – Being social

Joy – Having fun

Spirituality – Feeling balanced

Creativity – Being creative

Finances – Having financial freedom

Career – Doing work I love

Education – Learning about health

4.Be Intentional:

It is so much more powerful if you write down items with intension. Let me show you how to turn your list into an intentional list…

Example:

Health – I will focus on improving and supporting my health each day

Physical Activity – I will move my body daily in ways I love

Home Cooking – I will nourish my body daily with healthy, whole-foods

Home Environment – I will spend time in the garden every afternoon

Relationships – I will make time to have soulful sex with my lover

Social Life – I will catch-up, Facetime, call or message 1 friend everyday

Joy – I will schedule in 1 fun activity daily

Spirituality – I will practice meditation each morning, so I feel more balanced

Creativity – I will do one creative activity daily

Finances – I will set-up my accounts in a way that gives me financial freedom

Career – I commit to doing work I love everyday

Education – I will read 1 chapter from my health book each day

Top Tip: Write your daily non-negotiable’s out on a piece of paper in a clear and concise list. Stick up your list somewhere that you will see it everyday (like on your bathroom mirror or fridge) as a reminder. This will also help to keep you accountable.

So gorgeous girl, I hope this article has inspired you to create your very own Daily Non-Negotiable’s list too! I can promise that if you commit to doing your non-negotiable’s each day you will start to see the benefits of it! Share this with your besties right now, to encourage them too! I want to spread the message of true health and happiness to as many people as possible and I would LOVE your help so get sharing!

Love Kat Xx
